Katerina from Mariupol

Katerina, 43, is a paediatric dental surgeon and a lawyer from Mariupol. She fled the city when it came under attack from Russian forces. Though her home and workplace were destroyed, talking to the Guardian at the Ukraine's Red Cross Society in Kyiv on Monday, Aug 22, 2022 - she says the worst part was having to care for her mother during the conflict especially when she had gone missing.
