Adnan Hoshum, a teenager born on January 1st, 1995 shows his body injuries following his escape from Syria on Friday, May 25, 2012, along the border with Turkey. Ever since he was caught in the village of Kensafra the Jabel Ezawia region (English: Corner of Mountains) by the Syrian state army he could no longer be a schoolboy to attend his classes. He was beaten badly kept in jail for one day interrogated and then released while his village was being shelled. Running away for his life, Adnan a teenage boy was injured from the shrapnel of various artilleries allegedly used by the Syrian government to bomb his village. While he knows nothing about the fate of his mother and three of his little brothers, he said that his father was killed by the Syrian Armed men. (Photo by Vudi Xhymshiti)
