People started working and renovating a petrol station (not in picture) on the road from Goris to Stepanakert throughout the Lachin Corridor, in the self-proclaimed Nagorno-Karabakh Republic on Tuesday, Dec 22, 2020. Kamo Avetyan (in picture) started renovating his petrol station facilities at the entry of Stepanakert, while trucks of Azerbaijan army (not seen in this picture), accompanied by Russian peacekeeping troops drove along the Lachin corridor. Saddened seeing Azerbaijani army troops driving beside his business site, he said the war is not over. Russian peacekeepers control the five-kilometre-wide Lachin corridor, which provides communication between Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia, the safe return of people to their places of residence, and the movement of civilian vehicles. The corridor is a mountain pass connecting Armenia and the enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh. The corridor is de jure in the Lachin District of Azerbaijan, but de facto in the Kashatagh Province of the self-proclaimed Republic of Artsakh. It contains the town of Lachin and the villages of Zabux and Sus. (Photo/ Vudi Xhymshiti)
