Sergyi, a local construction worker for a state-affiliated firm, shared his experiences outside a residential building in Borodyanka on July 15, 2024. He highlighted the challenges in reconstruction, particularly the difficulties in timely material supply and proper utilisation. Generators have been supplied, but logistical issues persist with materials like plaster and tiles, leading to wastage. The team, comprising about 15 workers, faces uncertainties with mobilisation for military service despite having some protective documentation. Despite progress in rebuilding, there remains a fear among residents of potential future attacks on the reconstructed buildings.
