The makeshift refugee camp welcoming Ukrainians is located in southeastern Poland, a city just 95/km west of Lviv, Oblast.
Ever since the all-out war began on February 24, Poland opened its borders to anyone fleeing war regardless of nationality and documents held. More than 450,000 people have so far crossed into the country. In total, the United Nations has estimated that more than 830,000 people had fled Ukraine.
